To my knowledge, itsacookiewand currently has the letters.

However, they haven’t answered the many asks I’ve sent them asking for a status update.

The end of the season is now, and there are many cast members leaving so we need to get it together!

I’m definitely trying to step up the pace with all of this so make sure you have your letters and small present ready to go and send once you get all of the letters.

The official details page will explain it better than I can but basically Jenn had the idea for everyone to write letters and send small presents to the actors and writers on the SNL staff. She started the project months ago, and now I’m running the operations end to make sure all the letters are mailed and get to where they need to go. :)

The wonderful Sam is now taking over the project. I have a lot coming up in my life very soon and I don’t think I’ll be able to moderate the project very well. Sam’s awesome to do this, you guys. Send her love! I’ll still be involved and I’ll still include my letter to Bill Hader, but all inquiries and whatnot will now be answered by Sam and not me (Jenn, hehe). This project is still a thing and it will be finished… eventually!

Hey guys! I know life happens, but we really need to try and speed up the process. It’s almost the middle of the season and we’ve only been through 4 people. Please, please, please try to get finished with adding your letter in no more thank 1-2 weeks. We still have a lot of people to get through and I’m beginning to fear that we won’t make it! I know it’s a lot to ask, but please try to speed through. It would be great if you could have your letter written and ready to go so that when the letters reach you, you can just add your part and send it on its way.

Also, don’t forget to notify me when you mail out the letters/when you receive it, but also if you change your url or cannot take part in the project for some reason.

I know we hit a bit of a stumbling block with Erica, but is it resolved?

As far as I know, Erica (number 4) still has the letters. She said she was going to mail them soon, if she hasn’t already.
